VARIEL is a company with more than fifty years of tradition. The production plant was launched in Zruč nad Sázavou, Czech Republic in 1964 as a branch of Montážní podnik spojů Praha. The company originally catered to the needs of telecommunications in the field of large casings and process equipment enclosures.

Today, VARIEL manufactures and sells technology housings, technology and special containers and standardised ISO certified containers used in the military, emergency and rescue services and also in the civil sector. The company also makes fibreglass and composite units and components. However, its most famous products still remain the vintage phone booths and mailboxes used in the Czech Republic.
