Krnovské opravny a strojírnyis a major engineering enterprise in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. The company has an annual turnover of CZK 500 million and employs around 600 people. It is mainly active in the production, repair, overhauling and refurbishment of passenger and freight railway rolling stock, the production, overhauling and refurbishment of tram cars and the engineering production of rotating parts, including induction hardening, weldments and the machining of castings. In addition to the Czech Republic, the company supplies its products to a number of European Union countries, Switzerland and Russia.
